The tall defender A nuisance at set pieces, as always, perhaps is a replacement for Stones at the back instead of paired with him. One wayward pass after the break almost led to a goal for the visitors. 6/10

Nico O’Reilly One more confident showing from the rising star following his initial appearance versus Serbia. A teammate did not capitalize on the most of a clever flick over their defense. His position is his to lose already. 7

The newcomer His first start for his country. A bit sloppy in possession though his dangerous deliveries were a threat. An effective tempo-setter for the manager to utilize versus teams who drop deep. Shown a yellow for a poorly timed tackle. 6/10

The midfielder Deliveries from corners and free-kicks created chances. Enjoyed room to move on the left only to be offside as the pass came in shooting positions. Granted a merited break on the hour mark. Six

Jude Bellingham Functioned in an advanced spot down the right and contributed with dirty work. Displayed flashes of quality and dragged an effort wide. Replaced towards the end by a teammate, a fellow player, after receiving a caution. 7/10

The winger Was presented with the team's best chance before halftime, his effort smartly stopped from the Albanian keeper. With Quansah hanging back, it fell to him to provide width on the right but his crosses from wide areas were inconsistent. Substituted with 15 to go. 6/10

The captain The difference-maker with his seventy-seventh and seventy-eighth goals at international level. His first a trademark close-range tap-in and the second an excellent finish with his head having drifted away off his defender. Aged 32, his form is unwavering and England stand a real opportunity next summer with him up top. Eight

The attacker Had difficulty to influence play on the left flank. Had a decent opportunity after being played in by the midfielder however Strakosha denied him. Rashford had a greater effect in his place. 5/10
